Taiwan, Part 9 - Fo Guang Shan Monastery, Part I
Saturday, July 16, 2011
It is lunch time when we reached the Fo Guang Shan. Upon arrival at the monastery we were greeted by little statues of monks in various pose.
We headed to the restaurant for our lunch - lobster and abalone meal. Couldn't believe that we are having such lavish meal next to a monastery.
Was told by our guide that they have this special ice-cream here at the font of the restaurant. Salted Egg Ice-Cream! Yes, no joke. There is really salted egg in the ice-cream. Sweet and salty at the same time.
After everyone is ready, we headed off to Fo Guang Shan Monastery right at the opposite of the restaurant.
