Restoran Ocean Point, Kota Kemuning

Chinese New Year just came to an end. We headed to Kota Kemuning for dinner before we adjourn to our destination - FGS Dong Zhen Temple. I was rather surprise that the town is so much developed now. We made a rounding around before we stop at the Ocean Point restaurant which seems to have more diners compare to others – we do believe that when we do not know which restaurant to patron when we are in a new place, best to go with the crowd.

It seems that bitter gourd is one of their specialties. But being it is still in the new month of the year, we made a pass on that dish. But we would be back to try it some other time.

Ginger Spring Onion Chicken - RM27.00

Served in a claypot, the steaming not dish came piping hot with the fragrant soya sauce.

Yam with Pork Ribs - RM27.00

When we thought the ginger spring onion chicken is delicious, this yam with pork ribs dish is really good! The yam is soft and ‘loose’ and savoury soaked up from the gravy. The pork ribs are tender and tasty from soaking up the juice of the yam and the sauces.

Stir-fry Young Vegetables Shoot - RM15.00

Signature Steam Fish Ball - RM12.00

Their signature dish of homemade fish ball. Big and round made from 100% fish paste. The taste of the fish is succulent.

Lala with Bean Sauce - RM25.00

This dish is another recommendation from the captain of the restaurant. Fresh big lala cooked with preserved bean sauce and red chilies. It is another nice dish to go with the rice.
