While we were at Starbucks for the Mooncake, we were given the opportunity to try out other food and beverages.

Black Sesame Green Tea Cream Frappucino.

Cafe Latte with Hazelnut flavour and Caramel Macchiato.

Low-fat Apple and Carrot Muffin. A healthier and guilt-free choice while indulge in a muffin and a cuppa. The sweetness of the apple and shredded carrot in a wholemeal flour makes it a wholesome snacks.

Banana L'Opera is one of the new released from Starbucks. A subtle taste of pureed banana on top of chocolate sponge cake and finished with a layer of chocolate. Being a fan of Choco Banana cake, this is very unique compared with other as it uses banana slices while Starbucks uses banana puree. The taste is subtle and not too over powering.

I had an extrodinary experience eating this cake, was half expecting it to be some American Chocolate sponge cake or some Lava Cake. How wrong I was!  Eating the cake on its own is nothing to shout about, but when you have a sip of the hot drink with the cake . . . I was totally blown away! The chewiness of the white chocolate is like marshmallow in my coffee - chocolate drink when the chocolate was diluted in the warm coffee. I am totally in cloud nine . . . I feels like being a kid, having a hot chocolate drink with marshmallow on a christmas morning. Noir, with a rich and velvety smooth dark chocolate wrapping a smooth white chocolate mousse and filled in the center is the bitter chocolate oreo. Best combination with this cake will be Caramel Macchiato or Vanilla Cafe Latte
