New bakery was in town. My sister told me about it not too long ago while they were still under construction. She told me it was the same contractor whom work for the Levain's. Now that it is opened, I can see the similarity.

I was home early from work and parents were still in the kitchen preparing dinner. Both me and my sister was looking for something for dessert when she reminded me of this bakery. We bought Custard donut, Caramel Brioche and some macaroons.



We divided both the Custard donut and Caramel Brioche in half so that we both can share. Creamy custard in a cornflake coated donut. Wasn't a big fan of custard filling stuff. This is a so-so for me. Bet it would taste better if it is hot from the oven. *wink*


Caramel brioche. This tasted better compare to the custard donut though. Fluffy bread with some icing sugar on top. The caramel wasn't too sweet.


Macaroons were at RM13.50 each. Buying in a dozen is a little cheaper, RM19.80. Different flavours we picked, Jasmine, Hazelnut Praline, Macha (Green Tea), Macchiato (Coffee), Cassis (Blackcurrant), and lastly, Passion & Mango. Didn't manage to taste all six flavours.

But do like the Jasmine flavour if you do like the taste of jasmine. The Jasmine macaroon has a nice jasmine fragrance and yet subtle enough to taste the chocolate filling.
