After filling up the tummy with Pisang Goreng and Teh Halia. We have a few quick snap shots before we were chased up into the bus to get moving. The nice panoramic view of the surrounding when were in the 'restaurant' having our snacks.



Overlooking the Samosir Island - Lake Toba. Breathtakingly beautiful.


I was fascinated with this plant. It was like hairy puffy rounded plant which they used to decorate the table when we were having out snacks.


Saw the plant outside when were quick snapping. Google but could not find the name of this plant. Until I came upon this site, where this nice lady yokohamamamam found out! Asclepias physocarpa--Baloonplant, or Swan Plant . . . that's the name. Swan plant; what a lovely name.
Gomphocarpus physocarpus, commonly known as balloonplant, balloon cotton-bush or swan plant, is a species of milkweed. The plant is native to southeast Africa, but it has been widely naturalized. It is often used as an ornamental plant
