It had been years since the last time I went down to the city center. The first thing that came to mind on what to have for lunch is the famous Ngau Kee Bee Noodle. It is small road side stall that had been selling beef noodles for years.
Without a doubt me and my friend ordered the dried version. The noodles are springy, the sort of noodles in wantan mee. The dried version of beef noodles are topped with mince meat and spring onion in dark sauce. Beef ball came separately in a bowl of soup. The soup is flavourful and sweet, the kind of sweet from the hours of braising.
Starbucks Juice
Was waiting for my mum at her office one day and I saw a nice bottle by her table. It was the Starbucks bottle and there it was... Citrus Crush as the label.
Astonished I asked my mum, and she said it was her colleague which left it there. It was only then that I knew that Starbucks Coffee sells juices in bottle! Call me kampung, but its true.

It Takes Time To Heal
When you thought the trauma of the incident is over and everything will be alright. But you never know when the memory of the trauma is back to haunt you all over again. You wanted to run, wanted to escape. But all availble is only silent crying and tremble. You wished that soneone would understand but was reluctant to talk about the fear. Who would understand? Praying is all I can do.

Book Shelf ~ Thanks For The Memories
Thanks For The Memories
Cecelia Ahern
The book was available in store for a long time, hadn't the opportunity to pick it up. After turning the first few pages when my sister bought it home, couldn't put it down.
The synopsis :
How can you know someone you’ve never met?
Joyce Conway remembers things she shouldn’t. She knows about tiny cobbled streets in Paris, which she has never visited. And every night she dreams about an unknown little girl with blonde hair.
Justin Hitchcock is divorced, lonely and restless. He arrives in Dublin to give a lecture on art and meets an attractive doctor, who persuades him to donate blood. It’s the first thing to come straight from his heart in a long time.
When Joyce leaves hospital after a terrible accident, with her life and her marriage in pieces, she moves back in with her elderly father. All the while, a strong sense of déjà vu is overwhelming her and she can’t figure out why …
My Thought :
Very touching book to read. The book also highlight the need of blood giving and how it can save a person's life... though they may not be baskets of muffins and personal chauffeurs mind! The magical of the book, will have thinking twice on your daily life. Never to take things on granted. Appreciate what you have before it is too late.

Desserts at Caren's
Caren had invited us to her home over the weekend to finish the ice-cream we bought to her place the last time. And she is doing something new at her place (Steam-care from Wusien Consume-Merchant (M) Sdn Bhd, steaming for health purposes) other than doing Gourmet Cottage which is open to public dining during the weekend.
I had craved for banana split and pasta for a few days now. The time is just right when Caren's invitation came. With such good cook and the craving for some desserts, we then decided to make the event of desserts. Had gone through various food blogs on ideas to make. Then she decided that we have strawberry mousse, chocolate banana ice-cream and filo of something.
And the menu is finalize on the day itself. We have spaghetti balognese for lunch and our main event of desserts - choco banana filo with ice cream and strawberry mousse.

Snogurt, Subang Jaya
Was invited by my dear friend Caren to go up to her house for dinner cum gathering over the weekend.
On our way to Klang, I was practically forced by my fellow passengers Yeh Hung and Angelia, to drop by at Snogurt before getting the ice-cream for dessert in Klang.
